Nearly forty years ago, the Center for Oral Health (COH) was founded as the Dental Health Foundation. Today, COH is a highly impactful non-profit organization with the mission “to improve oral health, especially of vulnerable populations, through innovation, research, education and advocacy.” COH lives its mission by collaborating with national, state, and local partners to develop innovative community-based strategies for improving oral health outcomes and achieving desired results.
Families in Good Health is a multilingual, multicultural health and social education program for the Southeast Asian, Latino and other communities in Long Beach. Its mission is to help the community make informed choices and gain access to needed health and social resources.
Healthy House Within A MATCH Coalition is a cultural and linguistic non-profit organization with a mission to promote the well being and health of all people in our multi-ethnic community through the provision of education, services and advocacy which are founded in respect for language, culture and health equity. The MATCH (Multidisciplinary Approach to Cross-Cultural Health) Coalition is an informal working group of volunteers and representatives from health and community organizations.
Floridians for Dental Access (FLDA) is a bipartisan coalition of organizations and individuals working to solve Florida’s oral health crisis. We strongly support evidence-based best practices in modern dentistry and dental hygiene that increase patient health, improve affordability and safely expand access to care through choice and workforce solutions.
Floridians for Dental Access was founded by Dr. Frank Catalanotto, DMD, professor emeritus in the department of community dentistry and behavioral science at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
